About

AGE OF AWARENESS (AOA) Mission, Goals, and Objectives

Age of Awareness, a nonprofit organization, was awarded grants from the Maryland Higher Education Commission from 2008-2010 to broaden the futures of talented African American middle school students from families facing economic challenges and provided programs that included academic support, college and career awareness.

Currently, AOA’s focus is supporting a variety of schools and orphanages in Africa. We ship school supplies and travel to Ghana visiting schools annually. AOA has also supported schools in Ethiopia, Cameroon, Kenya, Egypt and Jamaica.
