Age of Awareness College Access Summer Camp at Gholson Middle School

Age of Awareness College Access Summer Camp at Gholson Middle School is funded by a grant from the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC).  The camp is an early intervention program geared to introduce the students to college and career options.  The campers will have presentations from various college admissions counselors and career professionals.  We will also visit college campuses and corporations.  There are 4 college counselors that serve as advisors, mentors and role models.  The students will also participate in English and Math enhancement during the camp and write a college essay.
